The Red Flag #1
December 2009-January 2010

The Only Way Out of the Crisis is Socialist Revolution!

The current capitalist crisis is not hurting people equally. Some—the capitalists—take profit of it, while others—we, the workers—are losing their jobs, houses and the little they have. Those who still fill their pockets—companies’ bosses, State rulers, big bankers and all those friends among the bourgeoisie—use every means they can to preserve their power and profits. Thanks to the governments, which use our own money through taxes, they received billions of dollars in subsidies and favorable loans.

Towards the 2nd Canadian Revolutionary Congress

In November 2006, close to 100 activists coming from different parts of the country gathered in Montréal, Québec for the 1st Canadian Revolutionary Congress (CRC), where they enthusiastically supported the creation of a Revolutionary Communist Party. This led a few weeks later to the official founding of the RCP (Canada).

Build the Revolutionary Communist !

From the RCP Programme: For all those who really wish to put an end to exploitation and oppression and get rid of the Canadian bourgeoisie, our main task is to build the new Revolutionary Communist Party of the Canadian proletariat.

But when the crisis will be considered ended by the bourgeois economists, who are going to pay for the deficit? It will certainly be the working class and the poor.

ONLY THE PEOPLE’S WAR WILL FREE THE FIRST NATIONS!
Support Natives’ Right to Self-determination

On October 12, 1492, Christopher Columbus arrived to the American continent. Bourgeois historians conclude this was the demonstration of the circumference of the terrestrial globe and the discovery of a “new world.” But the truth is he was lost and a new era of massacres started. Natives of the West Coast estimate the killing of 250 millions Natives by the European settlers in North America. Other sources estimated the Native population in South America in 1492 about 50 millions: after 150 years of European colonization only 8 millions natives were still alive.

NEPAL
The People’s Revolution is Moving Forward

On November 12, more than 200,000 people took to the streets in Kathmandu, Nepal to demand—among other things—the re-establishment of civilian supremacy over the whole political process. This spectacular achievement came after a whole week of various actions including road and economic blockades, in which people took part in large numbers.
